He's
changing everyday. His features are becoming defined and he's definitely
more aware. The first
couple of pictures are his 1st week birthday, when he and Judite came
home to a semi-renovated house.
The
renovations are going fine. The kitchen is done, the living room is done.
The gyprock guys are just finishing up the edges, the last of the furniture
has to be delivered and some final painting needs to be done. Then Dov
and Judite just have to move all their belongings down from the garage,
rearrange everything and they're done. The place is looking good and will
look amazing when they're done.
Next
is the basement.
They are removating it into a little studio for guests. It's a pile of
rubble right now, but we hope that it will be finished by the end of November.
On
Sunday, Brendan and Janine had a little post-wedding bbq at Tamarama Beach.
Behind the beach is a little park (common in south Sydney beaches) with
picnic tables and bbqs. It was the first
time Dov and Judite had taken the little one to a social gathering
and was definitely another learning curve...especially when he decided
to throw up his dinner just as a bunch of people arrived! It was a great
day - he slept a good portion of it and while awake was already following
his father's footsteps and charming all the girls!
Tamarama
Beach is a cute little beach just south of Bondi. It's nick-named glamarama
but is less touristy and more local than Bondi. I happened to see 2 famous
people on Sunday but don't know their names (the black guy in the wheelchair
in Oz and a really well-known model). Anyway, every year they have "Sculpture
by the Sea". It is a sculpture exhibition on the walk from Tamarama
to Bondi. The following pictures
are some of the scuptures that I thought were cool.
And
then finally, just to make sure there are some boring photos for you to
download. I'm staying at Brendan and Janine's place at the moment. They
have a gorgeous place 2 minutes walk from Tamarama and about 5 to Bondi.
Their balcony overlooks the ocean. I know - it's a hard life! But anyway,
I was out there a moment ago and 2 of the most stunning birds came to
say hello. So here
are a couple pictures of them.
That's all for now.
