On my
travels again. Flew from Sydney to Kuala Lumpur and spent a night in a really
shady hostel. The next day I took a bus back to the airport and met 2 Swedish
guys at the bus depot. Turns out they were on the same flight...I ended
up spending the next 5 days with them.
So
we arrived in Bangkok, booked into a hotel and grabbed some dinner.
The next day we went to the Grand
Palace which was spectacular. We paid a dollar each and had the greatest
tour guide. Told us all about the culture and history.
Then
we took a boat tour around the canals
of Bangkok. Got dropped off by Chinatown and went to see Wat Pho and the
Reclining
Buddha.
